A downloadable game

This is my entry for GBJam 8! It's, uh, a game. Yeah. Right now there's no win condition, no title screen, and no deaths. No music either. It's really just a prototype. Better than nothing, I guess.

I'm planning to keep working on this, but for now it's a  platformer that runs on the Nintendo Game Boy (or emulator). Made with RGBDS in Game Boy Assembly code. Art (aside from the great looking floor tiles) by Eldog. I also used ISSOtm's gb-starter-kit as a template.

Also, sorry I didn't get an emu up and running on this page.

Install instructions

This is a GB ROM download. You need your own GB emulator or flashcart to play this. I recommend BGB on windows (download here: https://bgb.bircd.org/), but there are other options. Just DON'T USE VBA!
